Join us for our annual Fall meeting and elections at Athens Pizza.
We thank you for your past support as a filmgoer and are pleased to invite you to the third annual Best of NYC Greek Film Festival in Atlanta. The film festival returns November 4-6, 2016, at a new and exciting venue, the Atlanta History Center’s McElreath Hall in beautiful Buckhead.
As in previous years, the festival carefully selects and brings the best of current Greek films to US audiences, shown with English subtitles. This year, we plan to bring six current feature films to the festival, which will truly represent “the Best” of the NYC Greek Film Festival.
Advance tickets for the films, film packages and the ‘It’s a Wrap” Closing Reception will go on sale on September 23rd via our ticket vendor, TicketAlternative.com. Your film tickets will include free parking and free admission to the Atlanta History Center museums and grounds on the day of the film!
In the meantime, please consider becoming a festival Sponsor and/or placing an Advertisement for yourself or your business in our 2016 Festival Program Book. We offer Sponsorship and Ad levels for every budget, plus your support will be highlighted to the 1000+ participants we expect. We’ve attached Sponsor and Ad Forms for your convenience.
Lastly, if you’ve enjoyed the film festival in the past, please help spread the word to your friends and colleagues; better yet, bring them along to enjoy intelligent feature films in an incomparable setting. See you at the movies!

Dear HAS members,
Happy New Year! I hope everybody had a restful holiday season. Our Vasilopita celebration this year is going to be on Sunday, January 29th.
We will meet at 6:00 pm for dinner and Vasilopita at Kouzina Christos restaurant in Marietta. The cost of the event will be $15 ($10 for students).
Please e-mail me georgenakos@clayton.edu to let us know if you are coming because we need to tell the restaurant how many people will attend.
Again, please RSVP to enable proper organization of the event.
Please note that this is a new place for us! We decided to change because it was getting too crowded in the restaurant that we had the Vasilopita the previous years. It is also a lot closer to Georgia Tech and midtown Atlanta.
This is the address of Kouzina Christos restaurant:
1453 Terrell Mill Road
Marietta, GA 30067
Phone: (770) 952-1950
We are looking forward to seeing everybody on Sunday, January 29th!
